August 1, 2023 - A serious wine that is very young and primary. Rich and concentrated. More new world than old. Red and Blueish fruit. A tightly wound ball of energy.

May 30, 2023 - My 2nd bottle of this vintage and I didn't enjoy it as much as the last bottle. I shared this with my wine group at a Turkish restaurant and we had this after 3 red Burgundys.

March 10, 2023 - Opened but not decanted for over 45 minutes before pouring. I hadn't had a KW Pinot since the 2001 vintage. I'm not sure why, as this was a great wine. Definitely less fruit forward and a lower alcohol than the Sonoma County Pinots I have been drinking recently. It tasted much more Burgundy than new world.
