April 13, 2024 - Chenin is a slow-aging grape and I guess this one is no exception. It's not much different from how it was on release except the lemon and vanilla cream has overcome the chalk. But it is still light, cleansing, gentle, and mild.

January 29, 2024 - Scents of a spring flowers, citrus blossom and quince. Leads with lemon cream and crushed hazelnut, with white pepper and wet asphalt. Salty bite. Integrated acid, texturally there’s a quality about this wine keeps me coming back year after year.

June 24, 2023 - more to these wines with some age on them...this one drinking fantastic right now...love the waxiness and salty minerals...reminded me of an aged raveneau!

April 28, 2023 - Impromptu Loire Gathering, a Few Doods (Paradise Garden, AdMo): Pale straw. Started out muted but eventually shows wet wool and cream aromas. Palate has orchard fruit and repeats the soft creaminess, capped off by zing of green apple.

April 27, 2023 - Chenin and Cab Franc: Texturally different from the 18 earlier in the lineup, more bruised apple and a little less overt citrus, got a little pith. Bigger body and same integrated acid. Retasting over the course of the evening, riper apple started to come out.
