November 26, 2023 - This was wine number two for Thanksgiving dinner. I decanted and strained, and then I let it sit for three hours. This was starkly different from The 2016 Bevan Ontogeny that we drank first. The 2016 Altagracia is a very serious wine that could benefit from ageing. Tannin is most definitely a factor. I feel like I paid for the Eisele name more than anything. Is it worth $120 a bottle? I can do better for half that price.

July 26, 2023 - More savory than sweet. Fruit is in balance with firm backbone and structure. Higher acid suggests this will age well.

April 22, 2022 - This is a beauty! Notes similar to prior TN from 2021. The bouquet on this wine has consistently been delightful. It has a more balanced finish than the prior bottle and it lingers in all the right ways. This wine is really good right now!
