  October 9, 2022 - According to Robert Parker: "The 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape is actually one of the more forward wines La Gardine has made in a number of years. It is dark ruby, has excellent chocolatey pain grille notes intermixed with espresso, sweet cherry, and blackberry.   March 20, 2015 - Developed nicely in six years. Good earthy dusty brambly fruit. Pretty silky at this point with a hint of fruit and herbs.

  January 19, 2015 - Decanted for about 40 minutes. Dried herbs, ripe raspberries and black berries, fine tannins and a hint of tobacco and licorice.

  May 18, 2014 - Once a glorious wine, this has faded. Fruit dried and short lasting. Raspberries and spice dominate the palate, but tannins have disappeared and little acidity left.
