March 17, 2024 - Think I’ve dropped other versions of Bedrock. For some reason this vineyard just doesn’t do it for me. Still good, just not special.

February 11, 2024 - Opened and poured. Very dark and purply. Heady jammy blacks and blues predominate. Thick and inky, any zin bramble masked by berry compote. Blackberry, toasty blues and lush carpet of dense fruit. Not hot, just solid juice.

December 13, 2022 - Wanted to love this like so many others who have reviewed the wine, but it just didn’t deliver for me. Fruit (blackberries and red raspberries mainly) wasn’t very robust, and there was a bitterness to the aftertaste. I’ve had many Carlisle wines that got much better on the second night. Not the case here. Good but not great, sadly.

September 25, 2022 - Texture and velvety smooth zin. Black raspberry and pepper spice finish. Decanted this for an hour, then enjoyed with a prime filet!
