March 1, 2024 - Wines Tasted at the La Paulée Verticals Session (The Maybourne, Beverly Hills): Light ruby center. Brambly aromas. Medium to lighter weight with a bit of sap and flesh. Supple, smoky dark fruit, light herbs, excellent acidity and soil. Tannic finish with apparent whole cluster notes. Serious, sophisticated Corton that is very much for the future. Impressive refinement and complexity.

April 12, 2019 - 2018 Barrel Tasting with David Croix (Beaune, Burgundy): Vines 60 years old, David uses selection massale in this vineyard. Laidoix limestone, 20 ha per hl in 2017, he noted. Whole bunch 40%. Bouquet of raspberries, red cherries, wet limestone and chalk. In the mouth, dense and powerful, a step up in concentration from the 1ers. Again very pure and clean, but this time more red fruited and mineral. Precise acidity. Spherical, refined tannins. A very good Corton.
