November 5, 2015 - Transparent mid pale gold, still a hint of green.
Lemon, lime citrus nose, underlying petroleum from the open blows off after a while in the glass.
Medium bodied, rolled gold and supple mouthfeel, luxurious.
Mineral acidity flows like the current from front to back and on to the finish where you feel like you're sucking on a stone from deep beneath the Eden Valley vines.
Medium citrus flavour, orange notes of sweetness to be found amongst the steely lemon and lime, grapefruit and lime zest finish.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 25, 2014 - Last of 6 pack. Still drinking beautifully and maybe another year or two ahead yet. Mineral driven, sharp citrus fruit. Kerosene notes, stony. Weighty palate, with a nice feel andwith very good length.

Initially, very tight on the Nose; as it warmed, it released a moderately intense petrol aroma, but not much else. Light bodied, and quite dry. Palate was very lightly-flavored: lots of gentle mineral flavor (soda water; quinine), and a hint of green pear. 12.5% alc. well-hidden. This didn’t blow my hair back like I was expecting it would. Not bad, just not very memorable, either. Drink now. -

December 7, 2011 - Very mineral and floral and still a bit reticent on the nose. Some petrol emerging. Palate is juicy with lime, white blossoms, wet stones (at least how I imagine they would taste), petrol and mineral nuances. Really very good, and probably even better in one or two years.

October 8, 2011 - A big, flinty nose with big lemon notes, lime juice and delicate florals. The palette has crunchy acidity, mouth filling minerals and a fruit presence. This wine is big and bold and has a great mineral and citrus finish.
