July 30, 2022 - Medium ruby color. This needs a few minutes to open up in the glass, first slightly smokey notes of bacon, then getting more perfumed with notes of plum, red cherries, some smoke, a touch of minerality, also some sweet spices and some pepper. It‘s medium+ bodied, with medium-high acidity and some medium- tannin. Medium length. A juicy pretty perfumed Beaune that lacks the density and complexity to be truly profound. Still a delicious Bugund though
