May 4, 2020 - Ordinarily I'm not a person for rose wines, but this is pretty enjoyable!

Medium salmon in color, the nose is light and fruity with some faint citrus notes. Medium-light bodied, it is pretty dry and fairly acidic to the same degree as the various Dr. Konstantin Frank dry Rieslings. Lots of strawberry in the flavor with a little bit of apple and a hint of grapefruit, and together they linger for a while in what is otherwise a crisp finish. I find it goes very, very well with roasted pork loin! The acidity cuts right through the pork fat and created a delightful balancing act.

As someone who ordinarily wouldn't give rose wines the time of day, I'm pleasantly surprised. This bottle is quite nice!
