September 13, 2008 - Drinking very well! Straw yellow in color. Light and refreshing with really nice balance. Bubbles are balanced and not overwhelming. Creamy with some sweatness -- pear and honey. But not overly sweet. Very nice.

September 9, 2008 - Corkscrew Tasting: The Wines of Vajra, with Giuseppi Vajra (Princeton Corkscrew): med- peachy straw in the glass. Nose of fresh peach, and detergent. In fact, the nose smelled EXACTLY like bathroom air freshener, and a good one at that. On the palate, nice fruit, some peach, some grapefruit (with bitterness). Light body, light-to-med sweetness, Med- acid. Needs more acid, a bit flabby. Finishes nicely, but it's basically fruit juice. Needs to be drunk cold, because it's on the cloying side of balance. Some soapy bitterness on the mouth to match the soapy potpourri nose. Very intrigueing, fresh, and clean, just a bit out of balance for my palate.

August 25, 2008 - Apple and some apricot and honey on the nose and pretty much the same on the palate, minus the honey, and replace by some limey favor. Pretty good body, but a bit too sweet for me. I think it's due to the imbalance of sweetness and acidity. This bottle performed more a German Riesling than anything else. Overall it's decent and I won't mind to drink it again, but not at $17, it's more like $10-12 wine to me.

June 21, 2008 - Wow, who says Moscato has the cellar life of milk? This was delicious this time last year in a standard Moscato d'Asti way, now it's become something else, and even better - instead of tasting like sweet Moscato grapes it tastes as if it were made from a hypothetical Moscato variety of PEAR. And even sweeter and yummier. Total wow!

May 10, 2008 - Funny, but I reread my previous review and was a little surprised at it. The wine is a nice apertif. Creamy apple with some body, but not sure it is worth the near $20 price tag. At less than 5%, it is nothing more than an apertif. It is a nice refresher but not too much else.
