December 22, 2023 - Disgorged April 2020, 2015 base. This is a lighter bodied champagne, bright and fresh but some cellar time seems to have mellowed any Brut Nature raciness. There's nice fruit density on an elegant frame with fine mousse. The aromas open nicely with a little air and as this approaches room temperature. There's yellow apple, cereal, and some yeast. Very enjoyable.

December 17, 2023 - (Notiz vergessen, daher kurz aus dem Kopf)
In der Nase spannender Kontrast einerseits zwischen sehr kalkig-maritimen und zitrisch-frischen Noten des Chardonnay und andererseits den sehr rotbberigen und auch deutlich dunkelfloralen Noten des Pinot. Dazu etwas Brotkruste.
Am Gaumen dann sehr weinig, füllig, dabei aber mit schönem Säurezug. Sehr schöner Schaum.
Angenehm lang, guter Apero und sicher auch ein guter Begleiter zu Vorspeisen.1 person found this helpful Comment -

The palate is medium-light bodied with firm, stony grip (malo blocked?) and depth of fruit that manages to be both rich and lithe. The Brut Nature brightness is certainly apparent, but the wine is very well balanced, even if on the acidic side. Excellent with food, excellent overall.
