May 8, 2024 - Not bad now but I think it is losing it. I suspect past its best.

    March 23, 2024 - No bad Amarone.
    Great year. Maybe too simple.
Not the best Amarone you can have.
    Quality / price ratio ok

January 11, 2024 - One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Nose of roses and tree bark during decant.Wine was clear; ruby red with a slight crimson edge and a small clear halo. After resting, nose opened somewhat: dried cherries, walnuts and the omnipresent rose petals. In the mouth: smooth but still plenty of tannin hanging around. Sour cherries and woody flavors plus a touch of anise. Long finish of the cherries and anise. Given how young this wine was, the key to enjoying it was the food pairing. Served with steak covered in a cream-based au poivre sauce which allowed the food and wine to match each other's intensity. Otherwise, I would wait 3-5 years before consuming.

December 31, 2023 - Beautiful Amarone. High alcohol, lovely dark cherry notes with medium tannins. Could have aged longer but was very nice to drink.

October 15, 2023 - Very good amarone. Full bodied, long lasting, very intense nose. After 8 years it's drinkable, but still very tannic and needs time to open (decanted for 8 hours and still a bit closed). Some tertiary characteristics and decent complexity, but in hindsight would have better left it for another 5 years or so in the cellar.
