November 16, 2023 - Eight years on and this has developed nicely. The nose is maturing with earth and olive brine, polished leather, red fruited, good acidity, still a few too many tannins on first taste for me, but they are invisible with food and better with air. Still plenty of life ahead, really tasty now

November 3, 2023 - Despite its age, this wine still had good balance, body, fruit foundation. the cork was in perfect condition which explains why the bottle did not have the color tint or flavor of age/oxidation. A nice surprise!

June 5, 2022 - Still drinking very well. Was the WOTN. Dark fruit and garrigue. Great balance. While I would not expect this wine to improve from here, it is in a very nice place.

March 22, 2020 - Hazy notes from a ski trip. This was a real tannic beast. It took about 3-4 hours to really open up. There is lots of promise here, and I enjoyed the wine very much after it had softened somewhat. Classic southern Rhone flavours and not at all too ripe or heavy. I wouldn’t open this for a while or give it a solid decant (A-).

January 21, 2020 - Compared to the 2003 and 2004 this is a more complete wine. It shows fruit in brown nuances, especially dates and figs, combined with pepper, thyme and lavender. The tannins are still somewhat dry suggesting this will benefit from more time in the cellar. Quite good, will certainly live on.
