January 7, 2022 - Okay but doesn’t hold a candle to the Cabernet from the same producer...and at the same price.

August 7, 2020 - Purple in color and semi-opaque in the glass; Aromas of raspberry, blueberry, cinnamon, and vanilla on the nose; tastes of blueberry and pepper on the palate; medium(+) body, medium acidity, and medium(+) tannins; long, peppery finish. Not much structure or complexity, but a good everyday Zin.

March 16, 2020 - Purple in color and opaque in the glass; Aromas of Black fruit and baking spice on the nose at first but evolved with time into blueberry, blackberry, plum, smoke, and vanilla; tastes of tart blackberry, raspberry, and pepper on the palate; medium body, medium(+) acidity, and medium(+) chalky tannins; spicy, peppery, chalky finish. This Lodi Zin was ripe and lush yet showed a lot of complexity.

February 1, 2020 - On the nose- Big dark and red fruits, dark cherries, dark blackberries, blueberries, cassis, plums, black pepper, dark olives, dark chocolate, mocha, violets, red flowers, baking spices, cinnamon, oak, vanilla

On the palate- Big dark fruits and red fruits, dark cherries and dark blackberries, blueberries and cassis, plums and black pepper, dark olives and dark chocolate, mocha and violets, red flowers and baking spices, cinnamon and oak with a hint of vanilla on the finish. The finish is pretty big and ripe and really lush a typical Lodi zin but has some good acid to hold it all together, this wine is drinking great now but could age another 5-7 years not problem if not longer
