May 26, 2023 - I'm glad I waited til now, the nose is excellent, lovely red orange translucent colour. Tannins still present but softening, delightful to drink and will get better and more mellow still over the coming years

October 20, 2021 - Revisited and re-enjoyed. But that is not to say I took the time to savour this one either. I crushed this one too, but believe me, it is much more of a sipping food wine. The "semi-traditional" descriptor stands, but this time I noticed more of the herbaceous stuff the other guys alluded to. This wine deserves more patience than I have these days!

September 10, 2021 - Drinks well, "semi-traditionally", with a rosy orange hue. Delicate and refined in places, coarse in others. Exciting. A complex arrangement worth sipping, although for the most part, I did not. Will revisit.
Oddly enough I found the "mint" other reviewers alluded to, (a billion spins) although definitely not the most noteworthy dimension in this bottle.
Floral? Chamomile? This puppy rocks!!

October 6, 2020 - Very pale garnet with incredible legs - you definitely see this wine coming before it hits the nose. And what a nose! Extremely savoury on the nose with some red fruits, even some prune, but really dominated by an abundance of dried herbs. Not quite ready yet but will be a stonking wine when it is!

December 8, 2019 - At Bruno's in Springfield, MO. Made for early consumption, this was almost fully open. A nice introduction to classic Barolo, and a warmup act for Marcarini's Brunate which will need time. Energetic with regional/varietal character, nicely balanced and nothing harsh. A winner if found <$40 retail.
