March 22, 2020 - Really nice. Dark, lustrous appearance. Black cherry nose and mouth are enticing, intoxicating. Very deep, rich and substantial. Excellent body and balance. This is gorgeous. 5-13-17-8: 93/100.

Apparently there is a dialect that is only spoken in Anderson valley. Crazy. And two of those speakers who were sisters bought some velvet. And hence this name.
That, and its supposed to be round and supple on the palate. Which it is, with a brisk note of Anderson Valley fruit. At $75 its over but hey, if they can sell it. -
