June 20, 2023 - nice color, still young. restarined nose, some earthy notes.
palate dominated by tannins, drying tannins, lacking fruit...
    lacking carignan markers...not my style

November 21, 2021 - Tasted after a one hour decant.
Indicated blend is 70% Carinena & 30% Garnacha.
Medium to dark ruby in colour with somewhat restrained aromas of earthy, sweet black fruit, cured meat & an herbal note.
On the palate, medium bodied tart red/black fruit, sour cherry/blackberry, herbal/floral undertone, well integrated background oak, high acidity, medium soft tannins, & a long finish to pepper & an earthy minerality.
This wine has the flavour & acid/tannin backbone to cellar & improve for several more years.
Still good flavour on night #3.

June 19, 2021 - Raspberry, strawberry, sweet licorice and earthy. Full bodied. Excelent blend of 60+ year old Carinyena and Garnatxa.

June 1, 2021 - Random wines tried before service (Oinoscent): Varieties: 15% Garnatxa, 85% Carinyena
Terrain: poor terrain with clay, sand, pebbles and panal (fossilized sand dunes)
    Altitude: 300-700m
Ageing: 13 months ageing in new French oak barrels and 2-3 years in lightly toasted barrels

Impressive purity, black and red fruit, high intensity, coffee, chocolate, fruit in liqueur, sweet spices.
The palate is filled with ripe juicy mostly red fruit, tight tannins, coffee, high acidity, alcohol heat (15%), highly aggressive, long finish
