  March 10, 2024 - Slightly stewed fruit nose, soft tannins, short finish. Not the greatest 2016 brunello I’ve had, but not terrible and for the price it is ok

  November 21, 2023 - Not as structured and elegant as other 16 but very approachable, gives more 15 vibes with super ripe fruit. A Brunello to drink while waiting for your other 2016 if your ok with quite a lot of oak.

  - a few more veg notes and or sour hay in the background.
  - blackbery, strawberry, and hay.
  - the sweetness of the fruit in the foreground is balanced with the tertiary notes in the background.
  - meat
  - day 2 showed light meat
  - drinking forwardly with fruit though
  - I get too excited by tertiary notes
  - and I still wish it drank more "red"
  - not as good as the 2015

  September 15, 2023 - Decanted and had with Pizza on Friday night. Stylistically this was some Black cherry and leather made in a simple rustic style. To be honest there was a bit too much barnyard funk on the finish for my liking. Was not a huge fan

  September 11, 2023 - Not the most complex of 16 brunellos but with the advantage of not being totally closed now as others I’ve tried. Drinks now with some benefit of ageing since oak is a bit much.
