May 6, 2024 - This showed really well. A bit more of the darker, chewy fruit this time around, as well as leather saddle. Previous bottles seemed a bit reticent, but this is starting to show its stuff.

May 4, 2024 - Ex-sommelier’s note is basically on. I would only add that it takes about three hours in a decanter to open up. But pretty irresistible once it does.

April 21, 2024 - Early on this showed fairly tough, with medicinal herbs, earth, and a bit of unripe blackberry fruit. By the 2nd day it was shining with red plums and black cherry, menthol, a touch of smoke. Surprising how much decanting this needed, but turned out as good as it always is.
