January 29, 2024 - There’s nothing quite like a good aged muscadet. Anise and violet bubblegum over a bed of stones.

September 10, 2023 - This pours medium straw in the glass. The nose is not super expressive but shows a nice traditional muscadet profile of sea spray, white flower, fresh basil leaf, crushed rock, lemon, white peach, and pear. The palate is crisp, entering on lemon and white peach, turning to medium plus, chalky acid. The finish show touches of baked bread and mineral. All in a ll while not massively compelx or impressive the profile is very pretty and appealing. lovely little seafood wine.

July 16, 2023 - Sea spray, gunpowder/flint, tart apples, lemon peel, orange peel, parmagiano rind, walnuts and acacia flowers on the nose. The fruit is definitely in the background. The palate adds a heafty leesyness as well as notes of wet stone and river rocks. If the fruit is in the background on the nose, it's barely a blip on the palate. The floral notes are also gone, resulting in a palate that's totally mineral and lees driven. Medium + intensity of both flavors and aromas.

Medium + body, zippy medium + acid. Overall love the fruit-backwardness and umami on this. Drinking very well right now; but will be a long lived Muscadet for sure. Could see myself checking in on this periodically for the next 5 years.

Everyone says muscadet and oysters blah blah blah and of course that's delicious and OBVIOUSLY this wine would be phenomenal with oysters. But we paired it with linguini in a white clam sauce and that was specatular too.

February 6, 2022 - Tropical fruit and lean citrus on the core, sadly the wine was badly corked so that's all I was able to pick up against the reek of musty basement.

January 14, 2022 - I picked up this organic Muscadet in Boston last weekend and it was well worth the small investment. Very dry, austere and flinty, as the label tells you, but also smooth and easy to drink, with melon and citrus notes. Would buy again.
