January 23, 2024 - PnP, nose is lemony, pineapple focused. On the palate, some oak but not a lot, pineapple, some green apple, very mineral. The body feels a little bit thin and the finish is slightly short.

October 7, 2023 - Pale straw. Bright aromas of butter, sea salt and lemon zest. Above medium acidity and minerality, low alcohol. Clear and vivid but not as concentrated as I wished. Drinks well.

March 15, 2023 - Not long after my last bottle but a better time tonight. I was drinking good young Chablis a few nights ago and this reminded me very much of those. Bright fine acids, lemon, and minerals. Not quite as piercingly chiseled or as characteristic Chablis je ne sais quoi but very much in the same style and quality. This is a surprise for Heintz as it is usually richer and more tropical but not in this vintage. Great stuff.

February 18, 2023 - My initial impression is that this is too young but also slightly less ripe than other vintages of this wine. Usually Ceritas Heitz has a bit of bright pineapple which is a dead giveaway but here it is not present. Nonetheless this is very good and still really too young to drink. For now I recommend a decant and leaving it out to cool room temperature to let it give its best. Fine lemon, good acid for food matching but not much complexity at this point.
