September 21, 2023 - Decent zin after a while. This bottle had a prominent smoky blast right from the beginning. It settled down after about 30 minutes. A lot of dark fruit coming through. To our relatively novice palettes, it seemed a bit harsh at first. Was better later in the meal.

July 26, 2023 - Smooth, some spice and fruit forward. Served with a savory Tuscan chicken with sundried tomatoes, basil. onions. mushrooms, spinach, parmesan, garlic and cream. The zinfandel lacked enough acidity to be a great match and came off a little one note with more sweetness than I like. I still enjoyed the wine. Wrong food probably better with BBQ or TriTip.

January 10, 2023 - Lots of bramble fruit to the nose. Lively on the mid palate, a little less big than I thought that it would be.
