February 24, 2024 - Beautiful Bordeaux that is in its drinking window now. The only criticism would be the high 15% abv. It’s generally well Integrated, but every once a while I got a whiff of that alcohol. Nonetheless, good bottle and look forward to trying my last bottle of this wine

January 22, 2024 - Juicy dark berries, good concentration, beautiful acidity and sticky tannin. Already beautiful, but will show more finesse with a few more years of cellaring. 92 – 93

January 10, 2024 - Lots of acidity, spice, tannins but also green tightness. Fruit is there but overwhelmed by the other stuff. Very long finish and aftertaste. To me a great example of what results from perfectionized winemaking applied to less than perfect grapes (second wine). Amazing intensity and length but lacks purity. Benefits significantly from a colder than usual drinking temperature (< 15C). Enjoyable and excellent QPR if you like a more intense style.

November 4, 2023 - Ripe red fruit, fresh fennel and cumin with a touch of veggie notes on the nose and palate. Interesting aromatics. Palate is rich, fresh and rounded. Medium-bodied mid-palate. Clean and pure. Transition is smooth after an hour in the bottle. Finish is extended and deep. This need more time, another 3-5 years will be beneficial to the texture of the wine.

July 27, 2023 - Coravin fun - St Estephe and randoms (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Plummy, rich and ripe with some alcohol prickle and very slight liquorice, a little polished oak on the nose. Juicy, fleshy, plummy black fruits, persistent talc textured tannins, the alcohol helps carry the finish surprisingly long. Simple
