February 11, 2023 - Did not take proper notes. Needed more air to open than I expected. I would recommend 4+ hour decant or more time in the cellar.

November 6, 2022 - Overbearing at opening, settled nicely after 2 hr decant - better after 4 hrs. Cork perfect - zero sediment. Will age well for a few more yrs certainly. 91

December 12, 2021 - 2015 Meritage & Bordeaux Reds; 12/12/2021-12/13/2021 (Canoehead Central): Double decanted for approx one hour. Dark garnet with ruby rim. Savoury nose at first with darker red and black fruits in the background. Black cherry and black licorice were predominant on the palate. A little young and crunchy. Acid is present and keeping grippy tannins and alcohol in check. Medium plus finish. Hold off another year or two.
