Community Tasting Notes 1

February 12, 2007 - Wine Tasting Dinner: Adobe Guadalupe's 2003 & 2004 (Monterrey, Mexico): Red blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah.

Nose is more restrained and obviously from a cooler year, exhibitting mocha and dark fruits. It lacks the obvious spiciness of the 2004 Serafiel. Medium bodied and more elegant. The acidification seems a bit over done. Tannin is, again, surprisingly fine grained and unobtrusive.
