  April 18, 2011 - If you got it, drink it. Nose of dried dark fruits - raisin, prune, dark cherry and tobacco. Tastes slightly of bourbon and a tough of coconut. Fruit has diminished significantly, but is still enjoyable although much more simple than it used to be.

  The nose still had some sweetness to the cassis and there is a hint of sweet leather in there as well. Still lots of fruit.
  
  The pallet starts off with some sour cherry moves into a smooth mid pallet and then moves pretty quickly into some sweet but mouth puckering tannins that linger nicely on the back of the tongue.
  
  We really enjoyed this wine tonight. Would buy again.

  May 25, 2009 - Ready to go. Smooth, round, well balanced but not overly ripe or starting to lose character. Excellent!

  January 18, 2009 - Drinking well right now. Smokey nose. Delicious raspberry, cassis, vanilla, tobacco and a long finish with a hint of mint.

  October 5, 2008 - Color was dark ruby. Wine had nice legs and tears on side of the glass. Nose was full of raspberries, strawberries and a hint of cauliflower (odd combination but it worked). Smooth mouthfeel, with mild tannins. Primary flavors were blackberry and raspberry. Well-balanced and fruity.
