June 3, 2020 - Pear and a little smokiness on the nose. Nice fruit, but a little too much oak for my taste.

March 25, 2020 - This is the best wine I've had from Texas, and one of the better Viogniers in the USA. Great mineralogy and citrus notes.

April 10, 2019 - Tasted blind. Medium yellow with a golden hue. The nose is medium (+) in intensity, with lemon, stone fruit and some oak-induced toast and butter, with a noticeable note of French oak. The palate is dry, rich, smooth, with medium (+) acidity and medium (+) alcohol (14%). This is rich, full-bodied yet nervy expression of Viognier, with medium (+) flavor intensity and great length. It is drinking really well and has the structure to go for several years. Actually better than the 2016 Guigal Condrieu, which costs considerably more.
