November 27, 2021 - Nice floral notes. Light on the voigner.
Banana, pineapple, star fruit. Very nice. Great autumn white. It has weight but not flabby.

December 10, 2020 - I don't really get this. I understand that if you are growing something other than Cab in Napa, you kind of need to charge a lot to justify growing it. What I don't understand is the rationale for paying $60 or whatever for this wine. There seems to be some oak on this? Which doesn't make any sense to me bc the wine is rather delicate and the finish is now bitter. Speaking of which, a little acidity would be nice. It kind of just disappears on the palette. There is a nice wine on the front, but there are a lot of really nice rhone wines from California that I would prefer at one third to half the price, without even getting to what's available in France.
Saying all that, it does get better with air, but this is going to be so difficult to pair without overpowering it.

September 26, 2019 - Amazing and surprising restraint on nose. Smoke and stone fruit. Apricot and citrus fruit. Classy with excellent balance.
