July 1, 2022 - If this is aging, it's at a geologic pace. Vanilla, fig, raisin, anise, molasses, caramel, butterscotch, and other related flavors evolving on the palate through the long finish. This isn't elegant, but it's hard to resist; dessert in a glass.

January 1, 2022 - Lacks a bit acidity. Very sweet and a bit clumsy. Not a elegant and ballanced as some of the wines from the 80ties...

December 24, 2021 - Very dense and a dessert on its own. Had a bit of chocolate with it and not suggesting to try the same!

April 27, 2021 - Love all the notes by other users, so good to see different opinions on this wine. Deep & thick black in the glass. Aromatics that hit first are coffee, caramel, toffee, tobacco and licorice. A very cloying sweetness with not much acidity and liveness (but that’s typical PX). Still, so fascinating to see how a wine like this can age flawlessly. If they found this wine 200 years from now in an alien civilisation, I bet it would taste exactly the same as it does now. Incredible.

December 23, 2020 - Obviously there are people who really like this stuff. I don't. It reeks of licorice and sulphuric smokes and tastes like overripe candied figs. Some wise man told me I should wait a lot longer - I tried this over almost two months and it just does appeal to me at all, so I think I will give it a rest. For a long time.
