July 16, 2023 - Bottled under Nomacork. Medium ruby color, clear, moderate brightness. Nicely aromatic, notes of fresh fig and raspberry with sandalwood, hibiscus, green tea, curried spices and brown mushroom. Racy succulent red fruit bringing red raspberry to the fore along with its fig and hints of red apple skin. The secondary depth is well-integrated and a nice savory frame for the fruit, highlighting the exotic spices of the bouquet. Lithe and elegant on the palate with silky roundness, showing piquant acid without sharpness and fine silky tannins, finishing with moderate depth and zesty lift. Paired with chicken thighs and mushrooms in a whole-grained mustard sauce, the subtleties in the structure of this wine were a bit overpowered, but really came into their own afterward. Very nice.

May 1, 2023 - Mouthcoating, layered, fresh and precise with a sailing, resonating finish, this bottle is singing right now. I think of tart raspberries and cream on the fore-palate with bracing but never harsh acidity that points to a nuanced, spice and darker fruited reverberating finish. The bouquet traces ahead the palate but with a more floral slant.

June 15, 2022 - light bodied, with earth spice raspberry; minerality and acid balance smooth finish

February 22, 2022 - 13+ months after the prior: Again savory, earthy, appropriately (not excessively) generous, with lovely backbone acidity. Very enjoyable over three nights.

November 14, 2020 - Delicious some. Light, earthy, mineral-y with herbal notes.
