  January 19, 2019 - Lucky that it is holding up reasonably well at this time. Dark fruit on the nose. Heavy tobacco and leather with strong pepper behind it. A bit dry on the finish. Still a good drink.

  March 10, 2014 - from Magnum. Still fresh enough to hold a while but definitely in a good window. Well integrated and in balance with enough tertiary notes asserting themselves to add good depth. Ate with chimichurri filet kabob - on the nose pairing for sure!

  March 11, 2011 - Probably best to have finished our last bottle now. It was still good - plenty of blackberry type fruit and a hint of strawberry but drifting into a so-so zin as it ages. It seems like this zin from Storybook is best consumed a bit younger versus the estate reserve and eastern exposure that can hold a bit longer.
