June 4, 2023 - Still very young. Dark color, fruit driven nose. Bouquet of red fruit, leather, some hint of espresso. Powerful wine. Strong tannins are present in the medium finish as well. I think we should give some 2-3 more years to the wine and expect a drinking window of nearly 10 years given the power.

May 5, 2023 - Black with a deep ruby rim. Blackberries and floral notes on the nose with a hint of coffee. Medium to full bodied on the palate.

January 15, 2023 - Purchased for $40. Now this is something special. This remarkable wine is a field blend of approximately 30 different varietals who's vines have an average age of 70 years. While there may by 30 different grapes, I easily detect the delicious Touriga Nacional in here. Tons of fragrant and perfumey floral notes and spice. Lots of juicy dark berries, leather, cedar and stone. There's a neat chalky note here and some tartness, like cranberry. Still has grippy tannins. With all this fruit and complexity, this can age for years to let those tannins soften. But this is a real treat to drink!!!! Bravo.

December 29, 2022 - Smooth Touriga National based wine. Slight alcohol and tobacco aroma. Smooth initial with mostly red fruit. Some menthol and cedar and slight cranberry overtones. smooth tannins. Slight burn on end ona good finish. First had in Lisbon at Sanchos restaurant in 2022

July 26, 2022 - Minerality , leather, dark berry and oak on the nose. This wine benefited from airing about 20-30 minutes in Late July 2022. Firm structure, balanced but still with medium high tannins. Some slight acidity. Will benefit from additional aging, as it still presents young, and I believe it can go at least another 5 years before hitting its peak. Disclaimer: I like/prefer aged wine characteristics.
