May 22, 2022 - GT Wine Top Tasting Gamay and Beaujolais (Winespace, Surry Hills): Meaty, pretty, jubey red and black cherry, floral top notes, slightly ashy, white pepper. Juicy, fleshy, slightly drying talc textured tannins, similar fruit profile. Nice but a little anonymous.

March 19, 2021 - Deep Ruby/purple with a violet edge. Nose of dark cherry, violets, and jolly rancher/bubblegum. Palate is very fruit-forward with medium fine tannins, low acidity, and a short aftertaste. Not much of the Fleurie elegance I was looking for. Best served with a slight chill. Not a bad wine, but there are better choices.

February 16, 2021 - At this stage in their life some 2018 Beaujolais are tasting a bit confected. I found this here. I think they will come out of it but they may need a year or two.
