August 27, 2023 - Nice gentle aged Rioja. Good acidity and still lively tannins ensure Parker’s 2032 prediction in my view. Easy going Spanish red, where everything is in balance. No hurry.

January 15, 2023 - For detailed notes look at the excellent note from forceberry. One bottle of this was heavily corked. This bottle is a bit more alive than my last correct bottle and it is my last one. Drink it up anyway. Only a shadow of what it was 6 or so years ago. 5/11/17/6. 89, -now.

December 14, 2022 - Smoke, charcoal, slight meatiness, herbal lift. Quite smooth, balanced, dried red fruit, fruit starting to fade, but still holding strongly with good balance. 90

July 17, 2022 - From my warmer than textbook cellar this is still good but in serious decline, I guess, given my older notes on this wine. Still yummy and very smooth it lost some of its intensity and complexity. 5/11/16/6. 88, -now. Textbook cellared examples should hold through for some more years, maybe with a better performance.
