March 3, 2024 - This is truly outstanding, exhibiting remarkable depth and finesse. It's a rich and complex wine with layers of flavor that unfold gracefully, culminating in a long and impressive finish. Ripe yet perfectly balanced, with seamlessly integrated oak. Fleshy citrus, honeycomb, and tropical fruit wrap around a core of cedar, wet stone, and flint.
It's enjoyable now but also has the potential for further aging. This easily contends with top-tier 1er cru Burgundy for a fraction of the cost. -

January 27, 2024 - Nose and palate are consistent. White flowers, honey, butter and caramel, very balance.
Drank at Donovan, well paired with seafood dishes. -

January 27, 2024 - Nose: white flower, honeycomb, apricot, flint, butter, caramel
Notes: what's interesting and intriguing about this white is probably its ability to integrate thr sweetness of the fruits, the fullness of the buttery notes and the minerality and coldness from the steel/flint. Rarely do these things go together and even when they do it usually don't end up too well. This combination will certainly boost the complexity of the wine and for those who enjoys a wine with more layers and depth this certainly is an excellent white. A couple more years will likely improve this wine further.

December 29, 2023 - Since June, this wine has shed a touch of the tropical banana quality and becoming more integrated. It’s still heavier and heartier than I’d prefer for summer drinking but it’s perfect for winter. I’m picturing a roast chicken or gamey fowl right now. After an hour in the glass, nice pear (and then some coconut) and nutmeg notes come out but everything stays in balance. Nonetheless, be warned— it’s still unashamedly New World and your ABC friends will hate it. While I’m sure it can go a few more years, I don’t see any reason to risk keeping it more than 2-3 more years. That said, right now it’s a fascinating wine that changes like a chameleon over the course of a long dinner. It’s a fun wine to a wine lover, that’s for sure.
