Community Tasting Notes 2

December 13, 2020 - Second virtual CdP wine tasting (blind). (Zoom): Wine 1 of 4. Good red fruit, dried herbs, leather, spice notes, liquorice, cinnamon and clove are joined by roasted herbs on the finish, with fine, firm, well-integrated tannin and good length. Very balanced and harmonious. Drank very well.

On day two, the fruit was less fresh and the wine was a little less energetic, but it was intact structurally and still drank well.

Even fresher than the last bottle.

June 9, 2019 - Barbecue at Rainer & Reni. 13.5% ABV. Red fruit, ripe strawberry and black tea notes, with mostly resolved tannin and good length. Medium-bodied, with moderate concentration and complexity, but good balance. Has aged well. Drink now.
