July 27, 2023 - Medium brickish pink color. Sour cherry ( in a good way) spice bouquet. Dry, spicy, tart red fruit flavor. Mature, but still very fresh. Aged well as a Tavel often can. Complex for a Rose.

October 29, 2022 - No formal notes but this was really excellent. Incredible nose. Nice change of pace from more "normal" stuff.

July 14, 2021 - Strawberry, raspberry are the primary notes. Such an interesting wine as it is about half way between a rose and a red wine, but it’s very well made and highly enjoyable. Seemed to be best right around cellar temp.

November 23, 2020 - Not something I drink that much these days, but some pairings call for a rather precise solution. This was actually first suggested by the owner of Enoteca Fiorentina (grazie), and his recommendation was spot on. Something of an admixture of the best of say three regions/wines: Chablis, Tempier rose, and some natural wine I've never heard of before, but tastes great, nonetheless. Medium-bodied, aromas and flavors that benefit from both proper serving temp (not too cold/cool), and some aeration beyond PnP. Excellent food wine; I found myself burying my nose in the glass about a dozen times - and that was just the first glass. Seems like it has a few good years yet ahead. highly recommended for the adventurous, experienced taster.

July 22, 2020 - A first for me- I’ve heard a lot about this but have never seen it in a wine shop- purchased as takeout from a restaurant during this COVID nightmare. Sort of a hazy saignee shade of rose in the glass with strawberry/pomegranate/new plastic off-gas/crushed bug aromas and tart, vibrant strawberry and raspberry fruit on the palate. This is firmly in wine hipster territory but I actually like it!
