  January 25, 2023 - This continues to improve over the years. It is the real deal, a rather sophisticated Chianti, and a riserva that lives up to the category standard. No kerosene, by the way. My expressed accusation is now ridiculous just a year or so later.

  December 26, 2021 - Very high quality Chianti with years of aging potential ahead. Deep almandine in the glass.
  
  Powerful and seductive on the nose with integrated notes of oregano, menthol, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate wrapped around a tightly knit core of dusty black cherry.
  
  Palate shows a young wine with hot alcohol, chalky tannins and ripe acidity.
  
  Flavours are well matched to the nose, firmly in the earthy, herbal, menthol category.
  
  Would love to have another bottle to see this unfurl.
