January 24, 2017 - Pop and poured. Drank over 2 hours over dinner at Table at 7.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of smoked bell pepper, grilled herbs, ripe dark red cherries, blackcurrant, blackberries, earth. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%), integarted high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of smoky grilled herbs, cedar, blackcurrant leaf, blackcurrant, blackberries, black cherries, dark red cherries, earth. Long finish.
Very good quality. I have never been much of a Cabernet fan, but this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was really good. Performed beyond my expectations as the base of neck fill had me worried initially. Time to drink up and enjoy.

January 9, 2014 - Opaque color with garnet rim. Nose of cedar and blackcurrant. Classic cabernet palate of dark fruit, with a slightly oily olive flavor. Tannins remain sturdy, such that this should continue to mature and improve for around 5 more years.

August 14, 2011 - Stunning. Acidity, tannins, fruit and length. All in the right amount. Wish I had more of this one.

March 2, 2009 - This was a great wine. Very dark red in color and low sediment. Aromas of earth and black fruit, leather and licorice. Lots of fruit left on the palate and tannins softer after a decant

March 4, 2000 - Rich red fruits. Good acidity, but with sweet lush fruit to back it up. Excellent.
