January 11, 2011 - On first taste without food it was a little harsh. With food it really opened up and was very enjoyable.

September 26, 2008 - Really rich and delicious, with just a hint of sweetness. Works as a cocktail wine but has enough acidity to pair well with food too. Yum.

February 25, 2008 - Drank over two days. Did not show as well as previous bottles. Kind of flat.

January 27, 2008 - Pretty good, but a little bit on the sweet side for me. I found that aspect overwhelmed some of the others early on. Not sure I'd pay $22 for this again.

September 11, 2007 - First night with roast lamb with a maple chipotel sauce. The syrah in the blend was just the thing to go with this rich a dish. The next night was with 3 different polentas, one of mac & cheese. Again, the pairing was excellent. The fruit in this wine holds up great with rich dishes. I'd definitely get this again.
