April 8, 2023 - Pre-Easter at the Beach with Family (OCNJ): Consistent with prior notes. Some air time really helps this open up. Excellent wine from a talented vintner

March 4, 2023 - First bottle from this vintage of Helioterra (from barrel auction). PnP, had with some burgers and salad.

Light, translucent ruby color. Nose faint on opening, showing faint strawberry and floral. Palate was also muted when opened, evolving about 30 minutes in to show tart red fruit, rhubarb, pomegranate, mineral notes. Notable how much the mid palate changed about 30 minutes in. Tart red fruits showing through the finish. Medium weight and finish.

Good at this point, decant is advisable. Wine took about 30 minutes to show. Should continue to evolve

    Great now
