March 25, 2024 - Domaine de la Côte Memorious 2017 is starting to show some development. But just some.
Blackberries, ripe strawberry, spice! (Think cardamum and cumin), some autumn leaves and wet soil on the nose. The slightest hint of toffee, that becomes just a tad bit more apparent on the palate, but never dominating.
Velvety mouthfeel, fresh acidity, medium body. Intense, conentrated, pure and ripe red and black berries. Mild spice. Slightly firm but delicate tannins. Long and nuanced finish.

August 20, 2023 - What a stunning wine. Upon opening very intense dark cherry, whole bunch spice and some minty freshness, very intense (on the verge of being a bit showy) and a tad rough on the palate (but still very enjoyable). With a few hours of air, the initial rough edge died down and the fruit rounded out a bit, making the wine a bit smoother which combined with its spice made this wine very enjoyable. I will keep my other bottle a few more years to let this develop, but one should feel free to open this any time.

July 21, 2023 - Excellent, granitic, brambles… light Cornas comes to mind. Still quite primary and fruity with a long development ahead.

April 5, 2023 - I thought this was really good tonight! I've never drank these wines before, and I'd been told they were a dead ringer for Burgundy, so I was curious to see for myself. If you served this to me blind, I'm confident I would have guessed Burg (or at least I def wouldn't have guessed cali pinot!) -- this is super classic, with ripe red fruit and nice acidity, lovely wine!!
