  September 1, 2014 - From magnum, stupendously rich yet vibrant. Wonderful golden yellow color with no hint of oxidation. Definitely on the buttery side but with nice fruit like white peach and pineapple . Rich, chewy mouthfeel and moderately long aftertaste. Great wine, even better when well aged.

Some bitter notes on the back-end, we'll see how it develops tonight/tomorrow....Second night, having chilled the wine quite cool, the bitter note has diminished, with plenty of fruit left and a full body. Past its prime, but still drinking decently.

  This was a great Chard, but is now over the hill. Had at Halle's. Decent to drink still, but no glory any longer. From magnum purchased at the winery.

  June 28, 2010 - Some toffee and other wood influences remain, but this is generally over the hill, the little fruit it once had is long gone.
