December 14, 2023 - Popped two bottles and decanted for a couple of hours. Had in a Howell Mt extravaganza line up with a 2013 Bluford and two 2015 Del Dotto "The David". Very smooth and balanced for a six year old. Still a bit young for my palate but still quite lovely. TRY never fails to please. Juicy Howell Mt fruit followed by interesting notes of dark chocolate and some baking spice. This will continue to evolve and improve. Drink or hold.

November 28, 2023 - An early drinker among the vintages I’ve enjoyed. Already soft, and expectedly lush. Nose and length a bit disappointing vs the best Outposts I’ve enjoyed, but this isn’t the True Vineyard (or most touted vintage). Pleased but not thrilled.
