March 28, 2024 - A mix of dark red and black fruit, barrel notes, spices. The fruit is ripe and concentrated, for me even a bit too rich.

September 8, 2023 - One of a 6-pak consumed over past 2-3 years, sound fill and cork. Minerally, tastes like there are stems and at least some of the vines grown on granite, very attractive but not super ripe fruit with balancing minerals. This bottle was a bit more subdued than the prior ones that I would have rated ~ 92. Coffee, cocoa, earth tones was used as a descriptor by one critic and agree. No cola flavors and Very interesting tannins. Not quite the refreshing lift some prior bottles have had. My spouse thinks this is a wine for adults and uses the same language for Sylvain Pataille wines.

July 11, 2023 - Tasted blind: thought it was a warm year GG spätburgunder, very surprised to see Oregon. Very well made, elegant, shows a lot of red fruit, good balance
