February 17, 2024 - Opened and tasted 60 minutes, not decanted. Corked pulled in fantastic condition with Durand. Pale garnet with some edge browning and bricking. Nose is dominated with red fruits, hay, spices with a herbal element. Tasting reveals a beautifully aged wine with smooth tannins, maintaining a freshness of fruit with some savoury and tertiary notes of cedar, cigar ash and leather. Long savoury finish. Excellent drinking❤️ Also the label just gives me a lot of joy!

June 15, 2023 - Beautifully integrated, soft and dry with satisfying finish. At times you can smell and taste its age so I would not hold on to this much longer. But it's drinking so well right now.

May 27, 2018 - Malgré les suggestions que le vin est en déclin, il est encore excellent. Un alliage réussi entre la force du sangiovese et la sensualité du merlot. La robe est rubis, peu soutenue, avec des teintes orangées. Au nez, les arômes de fruits rouges ressortent d'abord, puis on retrouve des pétales de roses, du lilas. Au palais, le tout commence avec un explosion de framboises juteuses, ensuite vient le tour des sous-bois, notamment la truffe ainsi que le thym. La finale est épicée, voire poivrée et surprenante. Bien que le vin ait passé son apogée, il est encore très bon. La bouteille avait été parfaitement conservée en cellier.
