April 24, 2024 - Smooth, almost no tannins, lots of long red fruit, limited earthy tones. Not a complex wine, but I enjoyed it and so did my guest.

2 hr open bottle before drinking.

February 24, 2024 - Popped and poured with some wine friends, served at cellar temp. Stored in optimal conditions for 3 years.

The Tannins were almost non-existent. Nice acid and fruit on the palate, but the wine just doesn't have a lot of body or complexity. The wine does have a nice long finish, and a surprising amount of fruit on the finish for a wine where the tannins have left the building. Did the winemaker use an additive? Makes me ask the question.

I fell in love with this wine when tasting in Paso several years ago, it showed lots of promise. So I bought a case of it. This was my first time tasting the wine in nearly four years, was hoping for more.

This wine strikes me as an example of a lot of Paso Wines, many (not all) are built for short-term consumption and just not made to age a long time. It is still good, perfect candidate for popping with a friend for a social glass or with really good burgers or roasted chicken. This also is going to be something I bring out as the second or third bottle when socializing with non-wine friends.

Calling it an 87 on a non-inflated CT scale. Cost was about $35 all-in for the bottle, makes it an ok value.

October 29, 2023 - Beautiful. Keeps getting better. Only wish I had more of that vintage to see how much more it would evolve.

August 12, 2023 - Good, solid Paso cab from a good producer.

March 26, 2023 - Good cab, we’ll balanced with enough oak and body to satisfy your basic cab drinkers. Big and juicy.
