September 1, 2022 - Prior bottle was almost 10 months ago and this wine remains in a great spot. White apple along with a mix of white pear and tart, white peach and clear lemon notes on the nose. Close to medium bodied with rounded and open white apple upfront. Adds tart white pear as well as white peach through the middle. The white peach leads into the lemon and lime notes on the backside, such that the transition feels very clean. The wine has gained in fruit expression and in overall integration since my prior bottle. Acidity is in balance with the fruit and provides a really good backbone. Both pleased and impressed with how this wine has evolved and improved.

April 3, 2022 - Nose of honey lemon. Taste of honeysuckle, petrol, minerality. Super bright crisp, acidic. Served with Indian food which paired nicely. Drink or hold, still has a lot of life left but tasting delicious now.

November 10, 2021 - Previously tasted at the winery 5 months ago, this wine showed better today confirming that the winery tasting was influenced by (i) the bottle being open for awhile and (ii) served warmer than I would typically recommend. While the wine has clearly evolved, it's where I would've expected it to be and showing well, in line with my prior bottle.

Distinct, but rounded white apple, slightly more tart white peach and nice lemon notes on the nose. Close to medium bodied with rounded white apple upfront and then slightly more expressive white peach through the middle. The white peach has both tart and open elements that work well both with the upfront fruit and the backside qualities, leading to a feeling more more complexity. Small tropical hints on the back also contribute in this regard. Lemon and lime along with balanced acidity and mineral notes on the back and through the finish. The wine is clearly more integrated than my first bottle (October 2020), but today's bottle showed better complexity and better definition than my winery tasting in June 2021. Based on this showing, I save my next bottle until at least July 2022.

June 19, 2021 - Tasted at the winery. Previously tasted from bottle 8 months ago and it seemed to have moved a small step down. Apple, peach and some light citrus notes on the nose. The orchard fruit notes on the nose seemed more open than previously. Nearly medium bodied with mostly a mix of white apple and white peach both upfront and through the middle. There's good depth through the middle and the fruit here felt expressive, but not as well defined as previously. The light tropical hints still come in towards the back, but not as much orange as before. Slightly more tart citrus notes through the finish but along with the acidity, both of these elements seemed to have integrated a bit more than I might have expected. Perhaps it was the side-by-side comparisons with the 2019s (which were going to show as better defined due to youth, if nothing else) and this bottle was a bit warmer than I would typically serve it myself. I still plan to open my next from bottle in Fall 2021 and confirm.

February 13, 2021 - No contemporaneous notes. Brief decant, drank over a couple of hours. My last bottle and the best by a wide margin. Drinking beautifully now. Intense flavors. Very low alcohol, a fact noted by my dinner companion.
