July 30, 2023 - Very good. My second time in the past two years, and the rest has taken this to the next level. I mean, just wow, and more so considering that I bought these at the cantina for just $14, It needs 45 mins, then primetime. It's med+ body, juicy, balanced, and oh so delicious. There's still gas in the tank, too. The experience has leveled up, as many of Giorgio's wines often do. highly recommended+.

November 27, 2020 - PnP. Only a month on from the last one - need to find more. Drinking well, and has all the signs it will continue to do so for a good while. Reminds me in many ways of the 2009 at the same stage. Considering the quality and value, this is easily recommended+

October 26, 2020 - Good>Very good. First tasted 11 months ago during a cellar visit, where I then picked these up. That said, I'll grab some more after this most recent experience. The nose offers a good degree of new, spicy, vanilla oak, and not so much soil or place components - on PnP. A 3oz glass saved for day 2 was slightly in favor of place and grape with the oak taking a backseat. The palate is med+ bodied, red/blue fruited, with a good tension, juicy middle, and avg+ finish. All that said, this is delicious, and scratches that very infrequent itch when I crave taste above finesse, elegance, high acid, etc. This is slightly more primary than secondary at this point, and also offers enough structure that this will still be enjoyable come decade's end. 14,5% abv., natural cork. recommended

September 17, 2020 - Firm, modern, tannic, with tar and liquorice notes on the palate, while on the nose it is soft, almost sweet, with damask flowers and plums. Clearly out of step and with an at least a doubtful future.

Firme, moderno, tánico, con notas de alquitrán y de regaliz en boca mientras que en la nariz se muestra suave, casi dulce, con flores damasquinas y ciruelas. Claramente desacompasado y de un cuando menos dudoso futuro.

August 6, 2020 - Our favorite “every day” barbera. Shows good body and is very versatile.
