Community Tasting Notes 1

February 6, 2021 - DIAM cork. Nose shows dense notes of raspberry and plum, lifted notes of peach and apricot, and background notes of cooked mushroom, charcoal, and oak. Palate has a silky mouthfeel (possibly due to 15.5% alcohol), with light, bright acidity and mild tannin. Concentrated cassis flavour, with background notes of rosemary and barbecue smoke. Softened slightly over 7 hours in the decanter, but still pretty punchy.
